Treatment services

Our Complex Care Service (CCS) provides interventions that focus on specialised management for people who have particularly complex needs. We also support families, carers, and clinical and non-clinical service providers. The service is designed for those with severe BPD who may also be suffering from other significant problems. The CCS offers a less structured approach which may benefit some clients.

Our clinicians work alongside case managers, hospital-based staff, family members, and the client to make sense of the issues being faced. Together, this extended care group spend time discovering the best way to make small improvements over time. Ideally, as this work progresses, the person with BPD becomes ready for more structured treatment within the Spectrum BPD Clinic, or the Intensive Group Treatment Program, as appropriate.
